TLM1010: Technical Communication 1 AY2020/21 Post Module Reflection Done by: Marc Chan Student ID: 2002544 Over the past 3 months, I've learnt not only learned about how to properly research and write a report, a summary, I've also learnt about how to work together with a team to conduct a presentation. These skills are especially valuable to me as I had forgotten most of these skills after 2 years of National Service. I understand the value of research, presentation and writing skills as I've had the pleasure of studying a similar module in my previous, institution, Singapore Polytechnic. Over the time I've spent in both of these courses, I've come to realize the importance of such skills not only to my future career, but to my daily life as well. Basically, the true value of the course lies not in the learning and application of methods of good writing and presentation, but in the unspoken emphasis on the importance of critical thinking skills.
